Hi. I’m Sara Mariers. I’m a glass artist, writer & a photographer. I often find sentences to satisfy me more than making. This is probably too, why I have somewhat failed in my making and stayed wide eyed to a poem. I have been very busy filling pages and, for a long time, I have moved very little above them - or at least until I became spellbound to the flame and glass set pace. Pace of a Straw is a folder for everyday musings, fragmented, delirious, doubtful and of hope. It is where my flameworking, traveling and writing are intimately close & I would love to share their kinship with you here.

With a collection of notes & photographs, at Pace of a Straw, I want to inspire lingering, journeying, altar tending, love letter writing and delight, in craft, in failure, in adventure and in the everyday alike.
